Doris Kearns Goodwin: Leadership in the Time of Covid
Monday, July 6
6:30 PM (EDT)
Free
For almost half a century, Doris Kearns Goodwin has studied American presidents, deriving critical lessons about wisdom, sacrifice, political bungling and true leadership in the Oval Office. In this “unscripted” event, she will draw on what Abraham Lincoln, Theodore Roosevelt, Lyndon B. Johnson and especially Franklin D. Roosevelt can teach today’s leaders — and us — about navigating challenging times. Dr. Goodwin is a Pulitzer Prize–winning historian and frequent television commentator.
Moderated by Dena Kleiman.
