The Sababa Chef: Adeena Sussman
Monday, July 20

Adeena Sussman isn’t one of those cookbook authors who makes you feel inadequate if your kitchen isn’t stocked with eight types of knives, a sous vide machine and a crinkle cutter. Her advice: If you’re out of your favorite steak seasoning, try rubbing your meat with Turkish coffee. If the meal doesn’t look perfect, remember, she says, “[foods] don’t have to look beautiful to taste amazing.”
Discover Sussman’s secret recipes for adding the Israeli preference for freshness to your ingredients, Israeli spices to your pantry — and a lot of Israeli improvisation. The result, as the title of her cookbook Sababa suggests, is AWESOME!!!
