The Torah is filled with characters and conflicts that have generated centuries of creativity, culminating in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and The Prince of Egypt. The stories of Sarah and Hagar, Tamar, Rachel, Abraham, Joseph, Moses and Korah can unfold infinitely, inspiring emotions, memories and dreams that connect us to our ancestors and ourselves. We will explore a free process of imaginative time with the Bible, creating monologues, dialogues, scenes, and stories using creative drama and devised theater techniques.
The Skirball Academy is currently offering classes virtually (over Zoom) for Spring 2021.
