The Films of Steven Spielberg

Despite the accolades Steven Spielberg has received — most recently Golden Globe awards for Best Director and Best Motion Picture for The Fabelmans — his full body of work is often underrated. Each week, we will study and analyze one of Spielberg’s films, focusing on elements that make his movies so unique and how his Jewish background has deeply influenced his cinema.

Portions of the films will be shown during the course with pauses for discussion.

REFUND POLICY

For classes that meet 6 weeks or longer, a full refund may be requested after the first class meeting. After the second class, a CREDIT of 75% will be given that may be used toward any course and is good for one year. No credit will be given after the third class. Tuition cannot be pro-rated if you cannot attend all class sessions.

COVID 19 POLICY

Proof of Covid-19 vaccination + booster, along with valid photo identification required for entry. Masks are no longer required but are encouraged and are available to those who request, however, it is up to the instructor’s discretion to require masks during the course.
