“. . . taste the whole wheat of spirit before it is ground by the millstones of reason.” — Abraham Joshua Heschel

Kabbalah probably wasn’t on the curriculum in your Hebrew school, but its influence on Judaism has been pervasive.  Its greatest teachers provided intricate, mysterious road maps for Jews seeking not just knowledge of Torah but the ecstasy of direct experience with God.

To provide a glimpse into the elaborate complexities of Jewish mysticism over the ages, the Streicker Center is honored to welcome back Rabbi David Wolpe, named by the Jerusalem Post as one of the 50 most influential Jews in the world and the most influential rabbi in America by Newsweek
